Photo Garden Flag
Child pictures on Internet, how to report it. Urgent help?
All,
I need your urgent assistance. A family friend posted some pictures of herself and my daughter (6 years old) on facebook.The photos were taken at our place from her digital camera whilst I was away and my wife was doing the garden. My daughter with just her knickers on. She never told us about it, I believe that she had no bad intention, but the pictures have been there for 5 weeks until my wife logged on and found it. We are not heavy users of Facebook. There lot's of guys comments.
I went into a rage and demanded that she takes them off. She did but during that time, the pictures were seen by loads of people.
With lots of paedophile activity on the internet, and by reading lots of horror stories, I am concerned that her pics might have been copied by perverts during that time.
I would like to flag this up with an agency/police of some sort. Doing everything in my power to protect my daughter.
Is there any agency or association I could report this to? What should I do?
I would contact the police and seek advice from them. Sadly, once photographs are posted on the internet they are open to anyone copying them for their own purposes.
